Don't you hate it when you're doing an amazing job for a client and they still terminate the relationship? Ugh. It sucks! In this video, I'll go over what you can do when this happens and how to prevent it from happening ever again.

So, let's say everything is going smoothly with a client. You're sharing metrics with them and everything is headed in the right direction. Then one day, you get a call and they say they're leaving you.... You're understandably puzzled, but it's because they don't' understand your value.

In our recent survey, more than 80% of you said don't think your clients know your agency's value.

The key is to benchmark in every conversation. Clients tend to forget where they were and then fail to recognize what you've done for them.

So, train your team to include these 4 things in their client interactions:

1. Remind the client where they were before they started working with you. This is important to establish at the beginning of the relationship.

2. Using their own metrics, have the client tell you where they are now that you're working together.

3. Communicate the plan and let the client know where they are headed. Remember, marketing is foreign to them so you need to constantly explain the progress.

4. Allow the client to determine their ROI by telling you what a lead is worth to them. Then review the numbers with them every time. If there's a dip in metrics, explain how you'll adjust things to fix it.

If you want to keep more of your clients, make sure you incorporate these 4 things into every conversation. That way you can continue to grow and scale your agency.
